This game is so good. I think it should be up for game of the year in 2011 even though it came out 11 years ago!

Hey, Alex, I just learned that there was an 'enhanced' port AND a sequel to this game released on the PS2.And here you are, stuck playing the inferior version on an abomination of a console. :(

It really depends... I usually don't buy into the excuse that a game hasn't aged well because it generally it holds games to standards that didn't exist when the game was made. Well sure, hindsight is 20/20.Often times, people use this to describe graphics, which is (I think) the unfairest of all. There are scant few games, however, that I would apply this to, and it's usually based off of gameplay decisions that I think could have been made at the time. I haven't play WinBack in a decade, so I'm just guessing. I did pick it up at Gamers like 6 months ago, so maybe I should stick it in.

I'm not particularly fond of the whole idea that things "don't age well" either. I thought the N64 was crap in 1997. I still think it's crap. I thought that many popular NES games had problems in the '80s that hindered my enjoyment of them. I still think those games have the same problems.People who worry about things "aging well" are generally short-sighted.

I remember renting that game when it came out, I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I have a feeling the mechanics did not (to use a cliche) "age well".

Does it look less hideous on your awesome tube TV?

From what I played, I think I will like it. It will take a bit to get used to the cam overall a good effort compared to any other stealth games on the 64 besides bond and perfect dark.

Now that you have it in your possession, I fully expect an awesome review of such an epic game. So epic none of us could make it past the first level. I don't know if that's bad for the game, or just the people playing it.

No, I'm not kidding. It came out to something like $2.05 after tax. I just hope the cart works. Gamers tests everything before buying it, so it should.

You are kidding? You shouldn't have. When I get it and play it, I will be sure to rate it high and mush all over it. Seriously though - that's awesome!
