Synopsis: The story takes place 20 years after a pandemic wiped out most of the human race. Now the infected attack like rabid animals while roving survivors do everything they can to survive. Joel, a hardened veteran is given a mission to escort a young girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone.
