Synopsis: Return once again to the vast underground nation of Avernum. A regular soldier of the Empire, you seem to have a good life ahead of you - that is until an assassin targets the empress - he fails, but flees to Avernum, where you must follow. The underground denizens and creatures have no love of the Empire and you will face betrayal and potential death at nearly every turn. But maybe you will find a few helpful allies - just make sure to watch your back at all times.
