A Classic NES Platformer

Rescue Rangers is based off an old cartoon that ran in the late 80's / early 90's. The NES game takes the characters from the cartoon, making it into a 2D platformer. The story is pretty simple, you must stop one of Fat Cat's schemes and rescue Chip and Dale's friend Gadget.

This is a great example of a classic NES platformer. The levels are side-scrolling and at times you must go up ladders and the like, much like Mega Man. Both Chip and Dale have the same abilities. You can run, jump, and pick up items to throw at enemies.

The level layout is a lot like Super Mario Bros. 3 except much smaller. There are only a handful of levels to get through, and depending which you choose, you can skip a few along the way. At the end of most levels there is a boss to defeat in which you …
