One of the original sandbox FPS RPGs, Fallout is starting to show its age a little. The graphics are not really up to scratch by PS4 standards, looking more like a PS3 game with a lick of paint and the narrative structure is not quite strong enough. You seem to spend too much time picking over the scenery looking for junk for the over-complicated crafting system and getting killed by random baddies who have nothing to do with the ongoing story, which actually discourages exploration. Not a bad game certainly, but the likes of Horizon: Zero Dawn have surpassed it in pretty much every department.
