AKA Wipeout 2097, improved graphics and handling, more weapons with the ability to kill or be killed by the competition and more forgiving collision detection makes for an excellent sequel that ticked all the right boxes. But once again, the later tracks are too tricky, making qualifying for the league mode - which for my money is the real meat of the game - unnecessarily difficult. Otherwise. it's pretty much the perfect futuristic racer.
