"Red Faction: Armageddon"

The Red Faction franchise heads underground which is infested with alien monsters. The fact that it's a rather generic caverns and aliens FPS means it doesn't really "feel" like a Red Faction game and the regenerating aliens that appear from nowhere can quickly overwhelm you, which combined with the collapsible environments in which you can become entangled makes it a bit frustrating at times. A nice selection of weapons though, and the fact that you can rebuild previously destroyed parts of the play area is a nice touch. A good game marred only by a couple of irritating niggles.
