What was a fairly nondescript platform game is married to the RPG format to make a reasonably entertaining hybrid similar to Wonder Boy In Monster World on the Genesis. The adventure element certainly makes for an improvement over the original, but it's not as good as WBIMW and feels a little like a dumbed-down version of the far superior Super Metroid.
