The original was a watershed in the evolution of the videogame being the first to employ motion captured animation and a unique format where you can die as often as you like, but the clock keeps ticking. Very influential - Tomb Raider is essentially Prince Of Persia in 3D - and still one of the best action platform-based adventures on the Genesis.
