"Winter of the Melodias" is just the second level of the fragmentary game known as "LostWinds." It uses the same graphics engine, same audio engine, same gameplay engine. Everything is identical to the first part of the game. Enril's powers even carry over.
In this second part, Toku must find and rescue his mother in a region covered in perpetual winter. He meets a few more characters than in the first part, but the overall story advancement in re-sealing the evil spirit barely advances at all. Once again, this 'game' culminates in its first (and last) boss battle. However, it is twice as long as the first part, clocking in at approximately 4 hours.
