Back to the Future: The Game - Episode III: Citizen Brown

The Story Isn't Quite As Good

In the 3rd part of this game, Marty finds himself back in 1980's, but in an alternate timeline. Much like it was in the 2nd Back to the Future movie, everyone in this timeline is different and Hill Valley has gone in a very different direction. However, in this situation, it's Doc himself that's made Hill Valley crazy. In this alternate timeline, Hilly Valley is a gated community where almost everything is illegal.

You spend much of the game getting help from Jennifer and Marty's Dad racking up "demerits" so you can go see Doc and convince him to help fix the wrecked DeLorean. It's the same gameplay as the first two games, you go around solving simple puzzles to advance the story.

What I liked a lot about the first two games was the story, but this one isn't as good. Talking with all the characters like Jennifer, Biff, and Lorain wasn't nearly as fun and in fact seemed tedious at times.
