Kind of like Kingsfield, but in a third-person instead of first-person view. A lot of strike, back up, strike, back up and hope you don't get surrounded. You can also snipe with the bow but until your skill gets high enough, it barely makes a dent.

I've heard a lot of really good stuff about the Wii U version of Deus Ex. It's not just a port, but it's got the DLC plus they rebalanced the game too be more suitable for all classes, and apparently also was the best visuals of any version. I'll support work like that for late Wii U ports.
