When thinking back to FF5 (which I played on the gba), I remember it being very old school Final Fantasy and enjoying it, but other than that not much. So, I guess the word that describes it the most was "unmemorable". The story must not have been amazing.

I've also updated my Gran Turismo 5 review, much more detailed now that I've put in many hours. I think the structured approach is good, and I stole some of your categories, despite what Chris says, it allows me to organize my thoughts and touch upon the different aspects of the game.

Official review templates are for the weak! Plus rambling on about inane things is what I do best.

I know of someone whose drawings are more maligned than yours: Yu Kobayashi.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King Review comment
You know I like this game... it's just a question of when I'll get around to actually finishing it - just like the five other games I've started.

Order of Greatness: Dragon Quest comment
After beating Dragon Quest IX and taking a look at your "order of greatness" list, I have to say I agree with almost all of it. IX was somewhat of a disappointment and V and IV are definitely the best with VIII not too far behind. I would bump up the first game though. While it was simple, I really enjoyed it, one versus all and everything.

GoldenEye 007 Review comment
I've enjoyed multi-player enough to know it's fun with other people but I wasn't compelled at any time to seek this out for my own collection.

GoldenEye 007 Review comment
i didn't play the original (shocking I know) and Goldeneye did represent the first time i even played any first person shooter at all.
I had always stayed away from the genre because I just couldn't get the controls right and it gave me headaches.
But I'm a huge Bond fan and so I forced myself to learn to play FPS games and this was my first foray into them.
I liked this game a lot. The multi-player was frustrating when everyone ahead of you has tons more experience. But I enjoyed it …
