You can still have lots of points... just on games you've actually played. See that's why it was a bad idea in the first place. Now that I've beat Fallout: New Vegas, maybe I can get back to Pac-Man and trying to pass David once again.

Okay, I cleared out my hatred of xbox sports... but I did keep my hatred of NES sports (which I have played).

It sounds like your favorite genre is actually what we're calling "action/adventure" on this site (most others call it that too).
And I'm sad you hate homebrew. You might change your mind if you played Super Mario War (a fan-made game that's like what Smash Bros. would have been if it debuted on the SNES instead of the N64).

I'm brokering a truce here - I will have Nelson delete his dummy data for all the Xbox sports games if you do the same. It was a misguided idea that has already has already had an adverse effect. If you've actually played the game, keep the rating, but if you haven't please delete the ratings and I will make sure Nelson deletes all his. We'll get back to only having real data on here and clear the air.

I'm surprised to see that Adventure is your favorite genre. Not many people like it. I must admit, it was one of my favorites on the NES (Shadowgate, Uninvited, Deja Vu).

You might very well think that all sports games are awesome. But if you gave me the controller and told me to play your favorite football/basketball/whateverball game, I wouldn't even know where to start and wouldn't have any fun.
I DO rate novelty sports games on a more subjective basis, as some of them can be fun for people who know nothing about sports.

yeah, you're right. Even david has 3000 on his Xbox Live ID. I would say 22k is much more impressive. But trophy whoring isn't my cup of tea and I don't think that's what video games are about.

Super Mario Bros. 3 Review comment
Sonic (especially in his early days) was more of a one-trick pony than Mario was. The big fun-factor in Sonic games was running crazy fast through levels... but when the levels were difficult enough that you had to spend time looking and thinking instead of just running they gameplay broke down.
Zelda, on the other hand, isn't just about "fun". Zelda has actual gameplay pacing between puzzles and enemies and bosses and villages and mini-games and treasure hunting. It was more of a …

wouldn't you say sonic was a better game I know if it wasn't for Nintendo there would be almost no video games but wouldn't you say Sonic or Zelda was more fun?
