Nothing particularly good or bad about this entry - but the formula was showing its age by this time. Even with improved graphics, gameplay was still in the original mode, which by this time was a hindrance. Luckily change was on the way.

"Resident Evil Code: Veronica X"

The original survival horror game's first foray into the next generation, the visuals are obviously much improved with some nicely cinematic cut scenes. The format is looking a little dated by PS2 standards however and some of the acting and dialogue a little corny and over-ripe, but it's still a solid entry in the series that will please fans of the first three games.
