Such a fun and inventive action game - I still remember microwaving that poor hamster and loving the reaction of giving it back to its owner. Also feature tentacles, so let the disturbing Japanese references fly! Anyway, fun characters, cool music and a hell of a story - Maniac Mansion was truly a unique experience.

Fun, Unique, Humerous, and Entertaining

Maniac Mansion is truly unique. At least, when it comes to NES games. Having the ability to take several different actions on several different items in one room gives this game a sense of endless possibilities. Also, there are different ways to beat the game depending on what characters you choose to enter the mansion. Thank goodness you could save this game, because this mystery takes a long time to solve.
Beware, don't microwave the hamster, it can get you killed.
A fun, fun game.
