Massively hyped at the time because of Rare's trademark 3D modelled graphics, this Mortal Kombat style beat 'em up hasn't aged particularly well, The characters look like plastic action figures which doesn't capture the imagination and it's too reliant on random button bashing.

It was supposed to be a Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter killer, but despite having some interesting characters, it did not flow nearly as smoothly as the other, more popular, fighting games. If you're really into 2D fighters, I suppose you should check it out just for something different, otherwise, you're not missing much.
