Katamari is sort of a happy version of the movie The Blob. It is endlessly entertaining to roll around the world watching your Katamari grow while collecting everything from paperclips to Sumo Westlers to Gozilla. Some may find this game repetitive, but challenges such as rolling up birds keep it from getting dull.

Quirky, original and totally fun - I admit I like to collect things, so it's perfect. You can try to build on the original, but I still think this one set the bar high and is as addicting as it is fun to play.
