I wonder how many controllers I chucked at the wall over this game? Devilishly hard - I think the farthest I ever got was the fourth level - and totally frustrating, yet now a classic in my mind. The fact you had to beat the game twice to get the real ending just makes it all the better (or worse).

The hardest game ever made. Period. The only redeeming quality (other than the fact that I love it) is the cheat codes allow you to play every level. Even with unlimited lives and cheats, you can't beat some levels. If you have beaten this game on every level, I want to see video proof!

Hardest Game Ever.

Ghosts 'N Goblins is by far the hardest game ever made, period. You can get hit like twice before you die and if you lose your weapon upgrade you're just out of luck. I got like half way through the game until I reached a level with a ton of red devils. Those guys are practically impossible. Not only that, but if you manage to beat the game, you learn it's a dream and to truly beat it you have to do it all over again, quite ridiculous. Not surprising though considering it's the hardest game EVER!
