"Contra III: The Alien Wars"

AKA Super Probotector, this is a frantic and often bonkers platform-based shoot 'em up with outrageous weaponry and screen-sized bosses. It can be tricky, but in an addictive "one more go" kind of way and there's always something new to see as you progress through the action packed levels. Even better than the brilliant Genesis version of Contra III.
