An Ultimate Edition that Delivers

Having already wrote my review for both the single-player experience (on PC) and multiplayer experience (on PS3 as well) I can finally say this is truly the last Diablo III review I write. I'm not going to rehash what I've said before, but I will say why this version lives up the the "Ulitmate" title.
Presentation: Has been tweaked all around - besides a new character class (none of us tested - so I have no info on if it's any good) - the game just looks a little better (I'm sure it's even more of an improvement on the next-gen and PC versions). Certain moves have new looks, and it has added better gems, an enchantment option and a whole new story line. Overall, it just looks more polished, as an Ultimate Edition should.

The console release of “Diablo 3” marks my first return to Blizzard’s archetypal Hack ‘n Slash series since the abject boredom of the PS1 version of the original “Diablo” scared me away from the sub-genre for a good many years. Thus it was with reluctance that I let fellow …

Devilishly Good Fun With Friends

Having previously experienced Diablo III on the PC when it was initially released, the main reason I got the PS3 version was to experience the local multiplayer. Because I don't trust anyone online - I never got around to trying it on the computer, though I did start multiple characters the first time around. This review will be rather brief - a few comparisions to the PC version and the overall experience, but feel free to read my full review of the PC version as well (if, you know, you're into reading reviews) as my opinion is pretty much along the same lines.
Presentation: Graphics wise, PC always has the advantage over consoles (though my decidedly average PC probably isn't that much better in that department). That being said, the game looks pretty much the same - and also has …
