Typical of 16 bit Castlevania games with large levels and plenty of horror-based beasties to slay but to me they always felt a little too generic. A decent platformer though.

Castlevania: Bloodlines is what you'd expect from an early generation console Castlevania game, but it has limited levels and will leave you wanting more.
This Castlevania game takes a bit of a different route when it comes to level design. While the levels will have a familiar feel to them, they don't all take place in the same castle. You travel around Europe to various countries taking out Dracula's minions.
Also, this is one of the few Castlevania games that gives you a chance to choose a character to play with for the game. You can play as John Morris who uses the classic whip, or Eric Lacarde who uses a lance.
If you've played other Castlevania titles you won't encounter many surprises. You upgrade your weapon to lengthen it and increase its strength. There are …
