An Out of Place Game

Panic Bomber may include the classic Bomberman character, but much like "Yoshi" for the NES, you end up playing a mini-game instead of a platforming adventure.
This game is a lot like Wario's Woods, or Yoshi's Cookie, or for a more modern and known game, Bejeweled. You go up against several different computer opponents, and you have 3 items in a "L" shape that you drop down to the bottom of the level. The object is to get 3 of a specific type of item in a row, eliminating them. The "Bomber" part of it is that items get replaced with bombs when you get 3 or more in a row, and then when you get a lit bomb as a drop down item, you blow them up. By doing this, you can build up the computer's screen and take them out.
This in no way takes advantage of the 3D of the Virtual Boy …
