Synopsis: The United States has fallen, along with 90% of the human race. Four years after the event of Resistance 2, former Sentinel Joseph Capelli is now in hiding, all but given up on fighting the Chimera. Yet when Dr. Fyodor Malikov returns from his seeming suicide, he brings a weapon he claims can turn the tide for humanity. Leaving his family behind, Capelli travels the dangerous road from Oklahoma to New York, hoping he can spare the remnants of humanity.

Resistance moves to a post-apocalyptic setting where you are at war not only with the Chimera, but also the dregs of humanity. It can sometimes feel like an inferior knock off of Half Life 2, but the action packed gameplay, nice atmospheric graphics and evolving weapons system make for another entertaining FPS.
