Excellent Game

This is an extremely enjoyable game that features characters from the Mario and Dragon Quest franchises. It is most similar to Monopoly, with players purchasing and investing in real estate properties, however it takes a step beyond and allows players to by stock in other players' property and gain money as they make improvements. In single player mode, you can unlock characters and boards, and earn in game achievement trophies. Multiplayer mode allows for intense competition between friends as they balance earning money with preventing other players from doing the same.

We bought this game not knowing exactly what to expect. We read that it is a popular series in Japan, and as Dragon Quest and Mario fans, we thought it was worth a try. We were so right. This is an excellent game and …

Not Your Normal Nintendo Party Game

If you're thinking this game is going to be like Mario Party, you're wrong. This game is much more like Monopoly, except with added elements and a Nintendo/Dragon Quest feel. You go around a board buying properties and if you get more than one in a specific district, you are able to upgrade and increase prices more. Also, in order to "pass go" and collect more money, you must traverse the board and get all 4 suits (heart, diamond, spade, and club) and head back to the bank. This makes you go around most, if not the whole board increasing the odds of landing on any particular property. An extra element is the ability to buy stock in districts, and you don't try and knock everyone out but instead try to obtain a certain net worth.
