Semi-sequel to the attractive RPGs on the SNES, this incarnation pretty much scraps the RPG elements and relies on arcade-adventure style dungeon exploring that's not entirely dissimilar to Gauntlet with nobs on. Reasonably good fun but anyone expecting an epic adventure will be sorely disappointed.

A friend and I wanted to play this one because we played secret of mana on the SNES together. Simply put, this one doesn't measure up. It was hard to know where you were going, levels repeated themselves and the story just wasn't as good. We had fun playing it, but I don't think we'll play this one again.
